" 'Vélo du matin'  is a cyanotype photograph that captures my journey to work along the shores of Lake Burnley Griffith, weaving through adjacent paddocks and woodland paths. Each morning, as I pedal through this tranquil haven, the world softens into hues of blue and green, echoing the calming effect of my surroundings. Encounters with wildlife reflects the solitude of the lake and fosters daily meditation, reinforcing the sanctuary I find in this daily routine. The handmade process of cyanotype, complements the introspective quality of my daily bike ride. Through this image, I invite viewers to pause and immerse themselves in the quiet strength and peace of my morning commute."  Peggy Halas, ACT
